Strategic Planning Committee Seeks Faculty Input

Throughout the week of Feb. 27-March 3 the Strategic Planning Committee has set up a display in the University Center and is asking faculty to offer their feedback on prospective directions.

President Sheila Stearns put out a statement last month inviting participation, noting:

A successful new strategic plan depends on your engagement and your insight. Please take some time between February 27 and March 3 to participate in the Creating Change Together event. I also invite you to visit UM’s Strategy website at www.umt.edu/strategy to learn about the values and process that guide the SPCC, and to explore the wide range of data the SPCC has gathered during eight months of extensive outreach.

We at the UFA encourage faculty to check out the work the committee has done and offer their feedback — they have easy ways to express support as well as opportunities to write more lengthy reactions — as this work will help inform the future of the university.
